Yes. We accept most major insurance plans throughout Texas, and our admin team will verify your benefits before your first session so you know exactly what to expect.
We offer private and confidential phone or video sessions across the state of Texas. Online therapy makes it easier to fit mental health care into your life. There's no commute, no waiting room, and no need to take extra time away from work, school, or family responsibilities. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a private space where you feel comfortable talking.
Sessions are secure, HIPAA-compliant, and can be attended from your home, office, or anywhere with a private internet connection.
We do our best to tailor our schedule around yours. We have several therapists with varying availability Monday – Friday, which allows us to offer early morning and late evening appointment times. We are not open weekends. Most new clients are scheduled within a few days. After you reach out, our administrative team will help match you with a therapist whose availability and specialty fit your needs.
Our appointment fees range from $135.00 – $175.00, depending on the session length and therapist. We can verify your insurance benefits for you.You can find more about our pricing here.
Your therapist will individualize a treatment plan for you. In general, therapy sessions include time for assessing your needs, skill building to help you find healthy ways to cope with stressors or mental health symptoms that you are experiencing, and time for processing or talking through ongoing stressors with your therapist.
Therapy should feel like a normal conversation with someone who is engaged with you and will keep what you share confidential. Many clients find it is a place to be completely honest, enabling them to deal with the issues that are keeping them from living the life they want.
Therapy length is personal. Some clients meet short-term to work through a specific challenge, while others benefit from ongoing support. Your therapist will build a plan with you.
We are honored that you have chosen to work with one of our licensed mental health professionals. We understand this may be an emotional and/or stressful time. Here's how to prepare for your first appointment:
1. Call our office staff to determine if the therapist you are interested in working with can take on new clients.
2. Our staff will e-mail you paperwork that needs to be completed prior to your initial session. This will include a copy of your driver's license or identification card, insurance card, and medication list.
3. Once your paperwork has been received (and your insurance has been verified, if applicable), our office staff will contact you to schedule your first appointment and send you instructions for using our Telehealth platform.
4. You will receive a link to your initial appointment in your e-mail approximately 5 to 10 minutes before the session.
5. Log on and meet with your therapist. Initial assessments typically last about 45 minutes and will require participation of the new client and therapist only (if the new client is 18 years and older). A parent/guardian is required for the initial assessment of a new client who is a minor.
6. Our goal during this initial assessment is to understand your therapy goals and to create an individualized plan to help you meet these goals.
7. Please let us know if you are feeling anxious or worried during this first appointment, and bring any questions that you may have for your therapist.
No, we do not prescribe medication. We don't have a medical doctor or psychiatrist on our team. Our licensed professional counselors are trained to treat mental health issues through talk therapy with behavioral, cognitive and experiential interventions. We can help you find a psychiatrist who can treat mental health issues with medication management, if needed.
Absolutely. Sessions are conducted on a HIPAA-secure platform and your information is protected by strict confidentiality laws and clinical ethics.
