Licensed Professional Counselor
Life can weigh heavily at times. Anxiety, depression, past trauma, or challenges can make it difficult to see the next step clearly. Helping people find their way forward is the heart of my work.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Before entering private practice, I built a strong clinical and research foundation that continues to shape the way I work today. I’m also a published researcher and co-author on a peer-reviewed randomized controlled trial of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for traumatic brain injury, conducted at TIRR Memorial Hermann alongside nationally recognized experts in neuropsychology.
I've also worked as a clinical interventionist supporting people navigating advanced cancer and the emotional toll of caregiving, and have direct experience with adolescents and adults managing trauma, abuse, and substance use in nonprofit settings.
I've been in the rooms where some of the hardest human experiences happen. I bring depth, compassion, and steady support to every session.
My approach is warm, practical, and tailored to you. I draw on evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you move through barriers and move toward a life that feels meaningful. I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal difficulties, and see adolescents and adults virtually throughout Texas.
You don't have to figure it out by yourself. I'd be honored to help you take the first step.
